Viklang Pension Yojana

Disability Pension Scheme was launched by the Uttar Pradesh Government in the year 2016. Through this scheme, pension is given to disabled persons. This kind of pension amount given by the government has improved their standard of living. Through this scheme, a pension amount of ₹ 500 per month is being given to the disabled people.
All disabled people of the state aged 18 years or above can apply for the Disabled Pension Scheme.

People with 40 percent or more disabilities in the state are visually impaired, deaf and dumb, mentally handicapped.
True physically handicapped persons who have neither any occupation nor any other means for their livelihood.
What kind of hard work can they do which leads to poverty line expansion in rural areas?
46080 for the maintenance of persons within the limit of Rs. 56460 per family per year in urban areas under the Disability Maintenance Grant Scheme by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
This scholarship is given at the rate of Rs. 500 per candidate.

Eligibility for Uttar Pradesh Disabled Pension Scheme
•To avail the benefits of this scheme, the applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
•Under this scheme, the age of the applicant should be 18 years or more.
•Under Uttar Pradesh Handicapped Scheme, at least 40% of the applicant should be disabled.
•Income certificate below poverty line is required.
•Whose annual family income is ₹46080 in rural areas and ₹56460 in urban areas. He is eligible for this scheme.
•If an applicant is availing the benefit of any other disability scheme then he/she is not eligible for this scheme.
•Under this scheme, if anyone is working in the government sector then he cannot avail the benefits of this scheme.
